iDEAL and direct debit
Sending an invoice is one thing, getting paid is the point
Through Mollie, Katsjing puts a payment link on your invoice and in the accompanying email. Your customer taps it, pays with iDEAL and the payment is matched to the right invoice immediately. No more “I'll transfer it today” and no payments you have to tick off yourself.
Working with fixed monthly amounts or a subscription? Then have the amount collected automatically by SEPA direct debit, based on a mandate your customer gives online.
What you can do with it

Your own Mollie account, your own money
You connect your own Mollie account to Katsjing. A payment from your customer therefore goes straight to your Mollie balance, and Katsjing never touches your money. Connecting doesn't switch anything on yet: you choose whether to offer online payment and direct debit. Online payment and direct debit are part of the paid plans.
Paying through the customer portal
The email with your invoice contains a link to the customer portal. Your customer opens the invoice there, pays with iDEAL, and Katsjing matches the payment to the right invoice immediately and books it. When Mollie pays out, Katsjing books the amount, the transaction fees and the VAT on them, so your bank and your books line up.
Direct debit without paperwork
Your customer gives a direct debit mandate themselves in the customer portal, with a first iDEAL payment. They don't have to type in an account number and the bank verifies the account holder. After that, Katsjing collects the invoices on the day you choose, for example on the due date or on a fixed day of the month. The invoice itself serves as the pre-notification. If a customer reverses a direct debit, Katsjing books it back and the invoice is outstanding again.
Frequently asked questions
- What does online payment cost?
- Only Mollie's transaction fees, which you settle directly with Mollie. Katsjing adds nothing on top.
- Does my customer need to create an account?
- No. Your customer logs in to the customer portal with their email address and a one-time code, without a password.
- I have a paper mandate from a customer. Can I use it?
- Yes. An existing mandate, for example from your previous software, can be recorded on the contact, so the direct debit can continue on that basis.
Included in every paid plan
There is no basic version with half a feature list: every feature above is included in both paid plans. What differs is how much of it you use: the number of sales invoices per month, users, trade names and automatically read receipts. ZZP is for sole traders; Onderneming has room everywhere and lets you switch off the Katsjing mention on your invoices. You can also start for free, with a monthly limit on the number of invoices.
